Note the multiple starting points unlike the two we only have at present. The Shadow wasn't released at the time.

In many ways I still miss the old tree where you had several exits from your starting position.

The walls and floor in these screenshots look a lot better then what is currently in the game in my opinion. 3D models of items on the ground DON'T blend in with the floor, enemies and NPC's are a ton easier to see and the floor and wall graphics give a far better impression of the environment being much larger then the stuff living within, I mean the walls totally seem to loom above and are towering over you while what we have now is kinda eh, that's the edge of the area I guess? And 3D models of dropped loot are extremely hard to observe, I depend entirely on loot labels because of it.

Oh also, the environment in the screenshots have COLOUR that ISN'T faded and turned to mush/blurry. The floor and walls have extremely sharply defined graphics which is awesome (Are current graphics bilinear filtered? 'Cause that is a horrible filter/scaler, nearest neighbor with AA is the best).

I only regret not being able to play years ago, in the alpha.
