Hey GGG, /fixmyhelmet plz!!

Hello community and GGG,

after I installed the patch I was excited to see the new helmets' 2D and 3D art. To my disappointment however, I saw that Bringer of Rain's 3D art hasn't been implemented yet (I assume it's current 3D art is just the one from the helmet base type) and I noticed that my microtransaction effect (the phoenix one) bugs out with the 3D art of the base item type of Bringer. That looks like this then:

On the left is the look of the current Bringer of Rain with the microtransaction effect and on the right it is without it.


Sadly the command /fixmyhelmet doesn't work on unique items as I thought maybe that would fix it somehow.
So please GGG, fix that effect on that item if you can/have time or just tell me that when the 3D art will be implemented that bug is going to be fixed automatically.

And while we're at it, I have some other questions for you GGG:

1) Since Bringer of Rain doesn't use the chest slot/makes it obsolete, can you please upgrade it's 3D art to a real Gladiator look? Something like this (also from the Spartacus series):




Make it so if you equip Bringer you also get some sort of shoulder guards, kinda making it look like a real gladiator (And make all other characters naked-chested too. Marauders shouldn't be the only ones showing off what they have, girls get bandages wrapped around their boobs.)

2) Will Unarmed get microtransaction (weapon) effects too? I'm inclined to buy a supporter pack but since I only like playing novelty builds, I play Facebreaker only and can't use any weapon effect whatsoever. Maybe make it so you can put effects on your Facebreakers instead of a weapon to get the effect on your hand/hands (depends on if you hold a shield or not). I know of many people who would like that a lot.

and lastly

3) I've noticed you implemented Aegis Aurora's 3D art. While it looks nice, it quite does't have the oomph the splash art has



The splash art has this glow on the item, maybe you can represent that ingame too? Make the 3D art glowy or at least way brighter in the blue parts of the shield (refer to first screenshot, there you can see what I mean).

Fixed

If you care that much what your char looks like in game, this may not be your cup of tea.

Maybe you should try Second Life, or Sims.

They will probably keep making changes to the 3d art, its still beta.

Well, Bringer was made in flavour to the Spartacus series which the pictures are from... just sayin'^^

Why can't I look like a boss? There are some cool looking people running around which I like to comment on. People are actually thankful for a little praise.
Yesterday there was a witch with the glowing helmet feathers and Exalted Weapon Effect on a 2-hander. That looked really stylish and elegant.
And once I saw a Marauder who looked like a jungle warrior from old amazonian movies, he had the Demon Horns and some mask on which gave green stripes under his eyes (kinda like the football face paintings) and he wielded a giant club and was bare-chested. Looked totally freakin amazing. That dude is now in my friendlist :D

Some people like looking stylish, I'm one of those and for this purpose item effects were created :)

Idd "hollywood gladiator"
A better example of extra armour that goes with it would be shoulder/neck protectors, but not full arm.

I actually think it looks cool.

You shouldn't be setting expectations on looks so high at this point. You will just be disappointed.

Seems like you have your mind set on a tacky 300®/Gladiator® style though.

The various helms/armour worn by gladiators was to represent the various conquests of the Roman empire.

You basically request 15th century pauldrons on 1st-2nd century gladiators, while forgetting Wraeclast is a fictional world.
