Edward Snowden... why this should be a major topic of dicussion!
This dude risk his career and life to expose the NSA and the PRISM program that is servielling (how convenient servielling being misspelled) and storing every part of your life from phone calls/texts/e-mails, conference calls, facebook, and so fort into huge database for later scrutiny... anyways I hope you guys don't get fooled by mainstream news, he's not a traitor, he's a hero...

Edit, Also top news, Obama wants to supply Syria with weapons and troops.... so on one side russia supply arms to and the other side obama want to supply arms to.... plz correct me if i am wrong http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57589252/u.s.-syria-used-chemical-weapons-crossing-red-line/ I know that this may sound negative and nobody like the news... but you should atleast try and stay current with what is happening.... I know eventually things will change for the better... Last edited by AlphaMetric#0706 on Jun 26, 2013, 7:21:59 PM

Us Hongers have wit, we don't openly say whether we support Snowden or not.
"Hong Kong officials said they allowed Snowden to leave for Moscow because the U.S. government got his middle name wrong in documents it submitted seeking his arrest. Hong Kong immigration records listed Snowden’s middle name as Joseph, but the U.S. government used the name James in some documents and referred to him only as Edward J. Snowden in others, Justice Secretary Rimsky Yuen said. The U.S. also did not provide his passport number and did not respond to requests for clarification, Yuen said." I think Snowden knew better, and that we can only protect him for so long, wherever he is now I hope he's is well. GOOD LUCK SNOWDEN safe tailwinds with you. Bet this is what happened at Legislative Council. "read Joseph", "Nope it's a James and I'm pretty sure thats wrong, bbq after?" Just to point out that almost every person in Hong Kong stood behind the guy for his courage. Even that long hair lunatic welfare right hispter representative in council said Snowden did the right thing even this relates nothing to do with welfare. Took a break from playing PoE, instead I use my time to follow the international news about snowden.
The terrifying thing is: Silence! Silence all over in our mainstream newspapers about Prism and NSA, instead endless stubborn discussions about the motivation of Snowden, and is he hero or traitor....No statement of neither government, nor opposition about the monitoring programms. Hey, USA broke our constitution, that is a serious crime, and NOBODY wants to talk about it?!? But what terrifies me even more, is the fact that Snowden is handed around like a hot potatoe and even Putin does not officially give him asylum. Didn´t expect much from china, but usually at least Putin got balls. So I asked myself, wether there could be a lot more in the backyard ( beside the fact that Russia and China got their own Spyprograms) and maybe USA does not only spy, but got enough malware in IT-infrastructures all over the world to paralyse any country they want...And if this thread is known to our governments, we got the answer for many things that happened the last years. "It's not terrifying, it's predictable stupidity. My view of the average American journalist is that he's used to having his medium being reduced to People Magazine. The Supreme Court is making decisions, but the hot topic trending on the news is Lindsay Lohan's latest binge. You begin to develop an instinctive sense that, if you want your story to go anywhere ever, you need to dumb it down to the point that you can take a particular face, tie a name to it, then point a finger at it while saying "BAD!" That's what makes a story. Like the whole Paula Deen thing, that's a great example. So... who's the face of PRISM? Well, there isn't one, being NSA and all. Therefore, by tabloid logic, no scandal. The problem here is not being ruthless enough. Is the head of the entire agency responsible for this program. Actually, maybe, but that's totally within plausible deniability. However, as head of the entire agency, he should have been monitoring the situation and stopped it as soon as he found out. So here's who deserves to have their face smeared through the mud: General Keith Alexander, United States Army, Director of the National Security Agency When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. something I been seeing recurring again and again in the mainstream media is the government, pretending that it could see the future, saying that he's going to become a traitor by releasing info that will hurt the us and kill many people they say... and threatening other countries is they don't comply with their arrogant demands.... and then repeating hundreds of time on mainstream media...

" They have a fisa court that pretty much bypasses the supreme court, it's a secret court that has not rejected one demand of the government so far.... saw a video on that i could be wrong.... but anyways many of the unconstitutional stuff happening in America goes through this secret court first that nobody knows about... |
|
"All that stuff is conjecture; it's not called a secret court for nothing, so it's hard to tell what happens there. Meanwhile, the cases in the Supreme Court are bad enough, and go almost totally unreported. Kelo v. New London, Connecticut, for example.
Kelo vs New London TL;DR
If it's in the name of economic prosperity, it's "constitutional" for your municipal government to seize your land and gift it to a major corporation. Also, Clarence Thomas is a sane man in an insane world.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. " for the fun, check out the raid on Kim Dotcom..... they raided his place in new zealand with a fake warrant... |
|
"And the court threw the case out. The problem here is the courts not throwing the cases out. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. I think the worse part of this all is the government thinking it's ok to use your hard earn money for their agenda, mass propaganda, breaking the constitutional oath, spending your money to defend their illegal ways, spending your money to make jails to jail innocent people for petty crimes, your money to cause the biggest scientific censorship in history, on marijuana...oh and lastly but sure not last, your money to orchestrate this huge spying on citizen program NSA PRISM.... and I'm sure the list can go on and on..
