Physical Siphon Witch (AuxTheDriven) [Standard]

Hi, I like ur build.
I am at lvl 68 and not sure if i should take power charge node around Templer area.
Will you take in later level?
Would it be possible to get an answer to my questions posted on the bottom of the last page whenever you view the thread again, Aux? :) Thank you!
IMO with this build, would it not be best going hatred+disc+wrath(dropping wrath if can't handle it, although it should work, maybe grace if you have superb mana gear)...With such high phys dmg, cold dmg would be so much more than the fire, +freezing with the huge crit chance and dmg, alongside shock stacks. Don't you agree?

Also, how's your hit chance(with eye of chayula on)

Hello everyone !

I still got my available reset on HC, as the Onslaught started right after, and i'm wishing to go get my witch lvl 59 again to play her a bit. I currently got around 75 skill point, and want to respec her in a wander/Physical wander.

My main issue is that i took life/Skillpoint as bandit rewards, i thus want to play EB (Remember this is HC, i have access to onyx & prisma thus). I can't manage to find a life based build for this, and since this build is great in CI i was wondering if any one is playing it as a life based right now.

Have a nice day.
oosband has a life-based build.

have u tried pierce support gem instead of chain with the projectile weakness curse?
so u could use only one attack with power siphon and use 4 gems for reduced clarity/artic armor/discharge/enduring cry/molten shell.(u can use a red gem in your boot when all your aura are casted.)

lvl78 witch anarch league,

Wamp pretty much summed it up. Your wand doesn't have quality, no lightning damage etc, gems aren't maxed or quality'd up and accuracy makes a big difference as well.

1. What is the best way to deal with Physical reflect maps ? using enfeeble / warlord marks ? I have life leech and blood rage on Q20 for this scenario

2. Anyone notice ele reflects hits really hard after the latest patch ? because shocking stacks applied to ele reflect as well ? Unsure about this one

3. With the new belt " Auxium " ! Is it possible to run WED gems on 6L instead reduced mana ? Due to extra mana leech from the belt, curious. Havent manage to get one yet

4. Is there any other alternative skills - single target dps for long boss fight ? Where all the charges were expired. It seems i have mana issue as well on long boss fight

Thanks !

edit: sorry engrish !

1. The 'best' way is of course Vaal Pact. Enfeeble won't do anything, and I doubt Warlord's Mark will help either because you are probably maxed out on your 20% max health per second HoT from leech. Granites and Enduring Cry are your friend.

2. If it's too rough for you try dropping an aura or 2 on Ele reflect mod maps or run Purity.

3. Yea I plan on using my belt of course, need to consolidate resists still, and will definitely be running WED or LL instead of Reduced Mana.

4. You can run PCoC or Frenzy gem if you really need to, but I was farming 6 man piety runs with this character and didn't have a problem killing her still within a few seconds.

I'm also having huge mana problems, not for single target though. Granted I'm still at a low level and not using bloodrage yet, but still. How do you guys counter mana problems early on?

Reduced mana can help as well as dropping the big multiplier gems such as WED. Keeping your Siphon gem low level can go a long way as well. Stack mana on gear, it not only helps you leech more as it is capped at 12.5% of your max mana per second, but will let you run more auras as well. Mana is an amazing stat on any piece that can get it.

I have a Shavronne's Wrappings, which allows me to run low life comfortably in maps and reap the benefits of doing so. Currently though I am playing Dual Totem Spork, which I am starting to find rather tedious, so here is my question to you: If I were to put in ~10ex in gear (Anarchy), would I be as efficient as a Sporker who has done the same? Let's assume both have Shavs here.

Wanders just look so neat, but if they aren't good enough to carry high maps I know I will grow to dislike it as I don't particularly enjoy not being able to clear stuff.

This is my first character ever so I do apologise if I have made assumptions that shouldn't be made.

I'm not too familiar with the low life build myself, but you will be giving up a bit of survivability in losing Chaos immunity and only gaining tons of attack speed. This is what I originally envisioned for this spec but after further research, I decided against it as the mana was just too much for me to want to mess with. I'm probably going to be dropping faster attacks on my AoE and adding in additional accuracy. While I haven't played the low life build, I have spoken to people who have and after hearing their feedback, it has more weaknesses than the CI counter-part.

Thanks! If you feel like you want it by all means take it. I however, will not be moving that far into the tree ever so I will not be getting it.

I run (as of a couple months ago when I last played this character) Grace, Wrath, Anger, Hatred, Discipline. I will be adding Purity to the list when my belt moves from Anarchy to Standard in October. I think my hit chance without the neck on after the accuracy/evasion revision is around 91% (without additional accuracy gem).

While there are life based builds for the spec, I am only familiar with the CI variant. I will strongly suggest you to go CI over life to take advantage of Vaal Pact especially being on HC.

I can't think of any reason I would ever want my projectiles to pierce instead of chaining. Also Critical Weakness is by far the strongest curse damage-wise in the game when your character is centered around crits (which this one is). It isn't out of reach to get 70-80% crit chance and 1500% crit multiplier using critical weakness. The ability to shoot around corners and clear out rooms with chain just by firing through them is far too strong to substitute for the ability to pierce.

Oh, low life is certainly more squishy than CI as you not only lose the immunity to chaos damage but also lose a fair bit of ES by not having access to the powerful ES nodes behind Chaos Inoculation. It does offer strong offensive benefits though, such as 30% extra spell damage/bloodlust (is that the name? Attack speed on low life) and the ability to run 3/4 extra auras off your health pool as well. At the moment as a sporker I am using Vitality, Purity, Haste, Discipline, Clarity, Grace and Determination - something no CI can do.

I'm just wondering if those things translate well over to a Wander. I can carry 75+ maps with high damage as a Sporker at the moment - can a well geared Wander to the same?
A wander can as well, especially one geared with the currency you could get by selling the Shav's.

Are Static Blows really that great?
I tested it and was very sceptical about the advantage it gives.
20% chance is not that much.

I think I will go to Heartseeker, have you ever considered taking it?
