No, just no, this will be the doom of PoE and GGG. Involvement from other companies (publishers, investment firms) is what destroyed the studio that made Titan Quest, it is what drove away Blizzard North from making Diablo 3 etc. Just have a look around at the kind of games you see nowadays, they are either console ports or pay 2 win crap, that is what publishers like.

GGG needs to remain independent, and they have said that they want to support PoE for 10 years, which means they need to pay for staff and server costs for 10 years. Don't underestimate those server costs by the way, they are brutal.

You might find it unfair that some of your CB swagger is now less unique or that there are OB packs that you like more than your old packs, but you will have to deal with it. My iPhone 5 is better than my iPhone 3GS, but I didn't cry when I had to pay all over again.

I think GGG would do great.

Ubisoft Montreal is killing at the moment with Metro.... But whatever, some companys just suck EOD, others could be great.

Dude....This aint a new phone....GTFO... Its the same game... And theyre selling the same shiz... You would be pissed if they called your "iPhone 3GS" a "iPhone 5" and resold it to you....

in my opinion nobody should buy those to show ggg that its BS to charge twice for the same thing.

**If** these open supporter packs allowed GGG to finish off act 3 and roll out act 4, find some technical fixes for major problems like desynch and add in a lot more 3d models for charcter gear, locations and monsters would you still feel the same way? I don't mean this with any disrespect - you and many others made a substantial contribution to helping PoE, and I'm thankful for that. I'm just hoping that the game continues to grow, expand and get better.

Who the hell you think you are, because you spent some money on a game that was supposed to give you fun. It was not supposed to make you a star floating above the rest of the community and looking down on them.

Is this what you want: If you took a breath of fresh air somewhere, this area must never be acceded by any other person for the rest of all times? Or even better, hinder the rest of the worlds population to breath any more...

You don´t want anybody else to have a supporter title or get some goodies? Whats your problem? Is your game experience harmed by that? Did somebody take away what you bought before? Or are you just the type of greedy green-eyed pack that cannot bear it if somebody is having the same fun as you have.

So on RL, when you buy a RollsRoyce or Ferrari, would you tell the company to stop producing Ferraris and Rolls to make it impossible for so else to get it??? How stubborn,ridiculous is that !

we CB supportes bought the support packs to support the development so that kinds like you can play the game. and it was stated that supporter packs like the ones in CB wont return.

anybody remember the countdown? 1 day left to get the closed beta supporter packs! 5h left to get the supporter packs. LAST CHANCE to get the supporter packs and have a forum title, t-shirt and of those nice pets. GET IT NOW, ITS LAST CHANCE BEFORE WE GO OPEN BETA.

so .. where is that last chance?

and if you are to make a RL comparison, then do it correctly.

if rollsroyce is selling me a special version .. a custom version and states that there is only a very few limited numbers out there ... and suddenly, 1 year later starts to produce a quite similar version to the "rare" version ... dude .. in reallife i could probably send an army of lawyers to hunt their asses down ...

RollsRoyce or Ferrari

Are a very exclusive club...and Car manufacterer...Their sole marketing scheme is to only make a few thousand or less of each car to make them rare and special..And to sell them to a select few.... And people buy them with that in mind.....

That is what makes them collectable... Regards....

If they suddenly started makeing alot of them.... Dam...the price would drop...people would be pissed.
