He has probably meant (not sure though) that his 30$ worth of points are already spent on tabs & effects & pets. Chris said he can turn his 30$ into the 30$ support pack if he sacrifices 100 of the points he would get with the pack...

I think some people here are overreacting. Users here asked for a way to support GGG more; new players who discovered the game after the end of the closed beta. I for myself think it's a good idea :)
