Kripparrian is playing poe!!!!

I didn't really know there were sides to pick, didn't see much hate from the stuff I read. I mean people disagreeing yeah but not much of anything really nasty.. I think people are just a little bit scared of this dude, including me. From what I've watched, he offers mostly criticism and talks about what he doesn't like, which GGG take under consideration. The only scary part is that he is giving the game so much publicity and his feedback is really important, combined with the fact that the other games he plays are WoW and D3. PoE is nothing like them imo and I wouldn't wanna see it become that way. Like when he said the snakes are too hard to target I'm like..... I'm nowhere near hardcore internet superstar and I have no issue with them why make it that easy? To my relief though Chris didn't seem too into that one and said they want some monsters to be a challenge. I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing

Snakes can be difficult to target, especially if you "need" a target for your ability. It adds a bit of flavor for them to be a bit of a pain in the ass, but they are easy enough to adjust to. For instance, stand in a door way and shift+ground slam (or other aoe) towards the room they are in until they die lol.

But I'm not always 100% if they add variety or just frustration -- because it feels more like a UI problem than a gameplay enhancing feature of the monster, such as the adjustments that should be made for Necromancers.

They would benefit from a bit larger of a hitbox/click box

Yes they are. I tend to resort to Cleave instead of Heavy Strike just because I'm sick and tired of trying to select the buggers.

Kripp gave very good and positive comments about the game overall. His Path of Exile first impression on YouTube is very enthusiastic.

I think his review was fair. PoE has a pretty steep learning curve, and the user interface is very rough right now. You get used to it, but it could be a lot better.

When you watch Kripps playing the game looks fast and furious. That's with Unwavering Stance so he doesn't get stunned, high movement speed, high attack speed, high cast speed too! (notice how Enduring Call is almost insta cast on his build), and so on.
Kripp has officially retired from path of exile, he's now back in Diablo 3.

The problem is players like Kripp will always take the easy option and choose the cheapest easiest builds around. It's boring and provides no challenge.

Give me a player who is experimenting with builds they like that make the game harder anyday.

To be fair, hardcore isn't the best place to experiment unusual builds.

You have a point. But there is a difference from taking an established build and running with it and exploiting your way to the top
