Updated 0.11.0 Patch Notes and Deployment Schedule

Saw the skeleton mage nerf and had to re-read. Skeleton mages? Seriously? Massively telegraphed sluggish cast, projectile so slow it can be easily outrun with little more than base movement speed and so small you can step aside half an inch onscreen to avoid it, and its pure elemental damage that becomes negligible with near max resists. How does anyone manage to die to these outside races?

Otherwise, much of the buff/nerf parts of the patch seem like a bit of a disaster, though its always hard to tell how the final balance will turn out with so many changes at once, so ill reserve judgement until the patch is live.

Great to see the desync fix added too, even moreso if it actually works!

Well glad they doing something about desync.
Not really at all the scenario that has ever killed me.
Its usually:
I am running on full health, suddenly death screen pops up.
Or Vaal overseer disappears, I kill all adds then while waiting for him to reappear, death screen appears...

Bit disappointed by the 'fix'.

They can be a right pain in large quantities and / or necros nearby without the means or time to dispose of the corpses. Not saying the cautious player cannot overcome the challenge, but that it can be a bit beyond reasonable player skill to avoid being hit at least a few times throughout the encounter, especially with multiple blue+ necros present. I suspect they were considered worth an additional nerf to bring them more in line with the reduced life from the patch, because of this.

This may be indicative of the degree of the life nerf in relation to the damage nerf, be that the case.

Well, as a spell totem user I gotta say I really like the changes to the skele mages. Big packs of those basically instakilled my totem. It was possible to kill them kiting small groups away and getting rid of the corpses, but still, they were a pain... Especially in maps with small rooms like vaal pyramid it took far more time then anything else.
