I am using seven to eight skills at the moment as a bow ranger.

With the change we had recently it could be nice to be able to take a new path?

As a ranger i avoided Evasion because it was useless but now i would like to test it in 0.9.2

Dude ... this is not World of Warcraft , in case you haven't noticed

What the ranger needs is a piercing attack , on a multy arrow shooting abilty that does decent damage and behaves similar to the witches freezing pulse.

traps are planned for PoE. look at the passive tree.

It's called split arrow + pierce & added cold damage support gems.
Or added cold damage & pierce & multiple projectiles + any other attack skill

That sounds suicidal before 9.2...
i hope they will add the ne charge of skills with the next patch...
My opinion is that the witch dont need to be nerfed.It is ok as it is but as all clases need some boost in dps for end game,she also need some love to.

The archer is more than fine the way it plays til you finish normal mode but after that is just a pain to play with.Aoe skils are fine but are to low in dps(lower the monsters hp or bost all clases dps)

Contrary to ranger all ml clases strugel eaven in normal mode so in my opinion they need more atention in terms of dps.The marauder suposed to be a brute force dps kiler but...he is not.

My opinion is that all clases need to get more dmg specialy form aoe skils,more skils for divercity,more bufs and so on.

Say what??
Ranged got decent aoe skills ,just require better positioning than nova skills.

I never had a problem with aoe as ranger, i faster had problem with marouder or duelist aoe capability.

At least how i build my ranger works good ,and i can nuke even 30+ mobs at one time.
Split arrow with pierce support works great ,you cover basicaly half of screen with it.

The problem is poison arrow.
The dmg on hit of it is useless ,since it should be used to create the fogs. While the fogs dmg is a joke starting on ruthless.
You should lower dmg on the impact and increase fog dmg alot.
I am currently using poison arrow +multiprojectile. One shoot in crowd of mobs and the poison cower like whole screen ,but the dps of it is wery low.

It got like 60dps on merciless ,its a joke.
You should make the fog stacks on higher lvl gem.
Like for example on 1lvl you can stack it only 1 time ,while on 10 you can already stack it 4 times or so.
