you can work out that most of these helmets are mostly based on european medieval periods, and some pacific-PNG influences as well for sme of the lower tier ones:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mask. If anyone can help me track down about the cultural origins on those 2 awesome headgear on the most bottom right, I'd really appreciate it! Looks medieval Mediterranean, or Renaissance. POE is a constantly evolving game, so expect balance changes, buffs and nerfs STILL!
