Tempest shield build

Just wanted to congratulate you on your build and on the effort you put in sharing it and documenting it ! excellent community spirit

Did you try Shield Charge against casters?

With my melée shadow I found Shield Charge to be the best skill against casters, archers or rares/bosses. You can easily use against groups of casters if you stick to a simple rule: don't shield charge same target twice. I usually kill them by triangle attacking them. Since most of casters use projectiles they cannot hit you except by luck.

Your build seems really awesome, and I'd love to build my Ranger like it.

I'm level 9 right now, and the only gems I've found are arrow related, which really sucks,
because I've been upgrading my skills for 1-handed + shielding so far. Did you start out in the beginning using a dagger and shield? Or did you use a bow and quiver at the start?

Which gems should I be looking for at my level? Maybe I can trade some of my arrow gems for them.

Is it just me, or does the skill tree only show like 6 points used, with some missing links?
