Idk, Affliction or Sentinel does sounds exciting, if these are going to be full league pre-nerf mechanics like it was before. (although deep inside we all know that most likely this is not going to be the case)

I also hope that in the future these templates will be added as mix & matchable modifiers and on permanent basis. I'll gladly pay some money for being able to play some crazy and fun alternate versions of PoE with friends. I don't even really care if such private leagues will be based on Standard and voided afterward. Just let me play with permanent Beyond with Affliction wisps and ascendancies + Sentinels with leveling tree...

Can you please consider the availability of an option with affliction and alternative ascensions? If possible, with idols as well.

I dont care if i have to pay to create a private league using the options simultaneously or selecting specific mods, i just want to have some fun with something different than what i have already played.

Playing affliction with the alternative ascensions and/or idols would be a blast.

OR could you give us each of these as modifiers we could turn on, mix, and match as we wish?

then we can have some real fun.

plus we need exile everywhere! mostly cause i want to hear my friends die in the campaign

See, for them thats the problem. They dont want you to have fun in poe 1 anymore. They want to slowly month after month sour the experience, they probably didnt think phrecia would be such a success. They want poe 1 players to slowly start getting bored, hating their own game, forget about it. And move on to poe 2. Thats the plan. They will not make any good new content for poe 1, because it would steal players from the game they want you to play. And if not willingly, then by destroying their own product that competes with it. And while poe 1 dies, they will puppeteer the corpse with unwanted events, i bet the next league will be filled with nerfs and an underwhelming mechanic, so that players keep having a sour taste in their mouthes when even thinking about poe 1. Phrecia was an unexpected success, but for GGG, that was a failure. Their goal is the exact opposite. If they cant delete poe 1 on the spot, they will take their sweet time turning the community against it.

Getting closer to a new league, we almost home bois!!!

Yeah, but we’ll see what state the house is in after all this neglect. My forecast:

- One of the worst leagues we’ve ever seen (and there have been some really bad ones that *still* had players… GGG, you owe your users a lot, seriously).
- Full of bugs, because “POE2 is the priority,” so they’ll have put the bare minimum effort into it, borderline disastrous.
- Those bugs will barely get fixed, again because “POE2 is the priority,” and the whole team is over there, working on that ARPG attempt.

Given this situation, there’s only one outcome—players who only enjoy POE1 and aren’t interested in POE2 (and there are quite a few of them) won’t come back to POE1… and rightfully so...

I *really* hope I’m wrong. I hope it turns out to be one of the best leagues they’ve ever made, to make up for all the lies and the stab in the back they’ve given their own players. I’ll gladly take the slap in the face if I’m wrong, I *want* to be wrong. We’ll see 😅
