Bro don't you know...GGG answers to him and the people who played POE 1. Even though GGG told them POE 2 will be completely different and capture a different audience dozens of times they want POE 2 to be POE 1...They can't fathom themselves playing another game. GGG bows to them

TBH I think most of the people who are pearl clutching don't really have purpose or meaning in their normal life. Their entire lives revolve around a video game that gives them that dopamine hit. Its kind of sad to be honest. I try to have some compassion cause I am 100% certain most of them are really just sad and need an escape from their mundane boring life.

There is literal proof that shows that PoE2 was planned as the 4.0 PoE1 expansion and advertised this way for 4 years.

Well I'd like to think I like POE2 because I have good taste. And now you're just making it about semantics. It's ok if you don't like the game homie, but you are not the arbiter on what the game is supposed to be. They've been doing interviews and shown gameplay for years. Best to just accept your lack of control and move on.

Oh yeah i remember and really sad about it

Could have had 4.0 with better graphics and an atlas expansion with 3-4 month circles for another decade.
Instead, have a beloved game on maintenance mode while the other game has a high probability of just being mediocre for many years (or worst case scenario even "failing" like D4 or Wolcen).

Im fine with the game them triying to make in essence. I were literally sleeping during maps in poe 1.
I felt sleep dunno how many times already.
Having an inmortal armour stacker character with aegis aurora didnt help I guess...
However. I prefear this playstyle much more.

Yeah. I have many many many issues with some choices about the game.

Them should have used what made them big in 1st place. The character personalization, the freedom for build creation, the huge amount of options, the market system, the crafting methods...

But the core game wich is combat and playstyle. Im on POE2 boat.
