0.10.8 Patch Deployed and Other News

This is great for you guys down under, really pleased for you.

Errrm, I don't wan't to be that guy, but.. am I the only one thinking about the desync being how it is because the game was coded so that high ping AU/NZ players would be able to play and going for a more client-server-client netcode, while improving sync dramatically, would have alienated AU/NZ because the gateway cost was unimaginable?
