The funny thing is, a rare with some of the horrendous mods they can have, is more dangerous than a boss in POE2 will ever be, yet you can kill it and get an item with a single modifer, p equal to a transmutation orb, It's a laughable state of affairs, and your post gives me no confidence these issues will be fixed.


Earlier today I killed a mixed normal/magic pack and got a div drop.

Then (as LA deadeye) fought a rare with prox, lightning resist and another annoying mod.

Dropped gold. Only gold.
Increase the drops for loot and currency during the campaign - not just for wisps and endgame.

Shower me with skill and support gems so I can experiment and/or make changes to the build I’m homebrewing as I play thru the campaign.

I mean the overall drops in campaign are what is driving people away. Very few people want to spend 30 hours in a campaign that has no drops and very little progression.

Also, why are you making boss drops have a fail safe, instead of just giving them more drops? You designed the game so that people couldn't boss rush as much, but then when people suggest adding in more loot you buff something we don't have much access to?

Why not just the players what they want so the game will grow? You had such a great launch to EA but have gone in the opposite direction since then and have almost done everything against what the players want as a whole.

Weird and the outlook for the game isn't good if this is how you respond to the community.

How do you go from the best loot and item progression in poe1 to the absolute worst item progression on the current arpg market?

So a bit of comparison and contrast.

D4, Last Epoch, POE, D3, Grim Dawn, all have higher loot drop rates.

Unless you're a trading wizard, a hideout warrior, or want to spend as much time manipulating markets or trading as playing, you are getting relatively little for the time spent. (I do hope it gets better late endgame.)

People are selling full ascendancies for a single divine and a single divine buys an item.

I have 60 exalts from 60 hours of play (Some guy basically gave me twenty exalts), no divine orb drop, and this is with a bunch of time spent trading but not playing wall street sim.

To traders or crafters a divine is like nothing but to players it's a huge deal.

If I want to gamble to make my own items from bases(Because it's fun.) I am Disincentivized because I should be saving my Exalts for an atrociously expensive *perfect* item.

Keep the game hard. But make it more rewarding. Please. White mobs are a pain in the ass to kill and can one shot you so they need better drop rates. Rares need more.

You already need a loot filter to play, and adding in currency drops literally won't hurt anything.

Ok. What? Increase boss drop rates.. there are no bosses in poe2. I mean.. you filled us I to thinking the campaign was full of them .but then there's none. And that's how you improve loot?

It's becoming a meme.. does anyone play off dev mode? Seriously. Drops are brutal. We kill 1000 monsters for every boss. There is no way you can make boss drops THAT GOOD to compensate for that brutal lack of insight.

I remember when blizzard shared video of their devs playing ...I can see Jonny boy playing a lv 60 toon in act 1 saying "what's the problem?". That's the level of understanding that is coming across with these incoherent ramblings. Communication is great. But you didn't do that. You gave us an answer to a question we weren't asking. WE WANT DROPS. There arent bosses. So this falls flat ..
