Upcoming Plans for 0.2.0g

I hope I will get more divine after this update
GGG,

Don't change your vision for more combo-oriented gameplay. I may be in the minority, but I am enjoying this game far more than other ARPGs out right now, despite its issues. While LE is in a great state, I can't help notice that I can just Zoom, Zoom Zoom through most of the content. That's not fun for me. I like some of the systems it offers. Each skill has its tree. *blows kiss*

My only complaint is the currency and loot drops that hardly offer progression during the campaign. I'm sitting in Act 3 Cruel with skills that have 2 sockets. Level 30 items at level 55. Where are the Exalted and Regal Orbs to craft items that could be useful during the campaign? Some Blues have good damage options, but can't change those without Regal orbs.

Where are the Jeweler orbs to add more support options?

Why am I getting Waystone tablets in Act 3 Cruel? Not sure how to use them. I know they are used for endgame stuff.

Idk, can you just get to endgame before praising your opinion on the state of the game? It wont matter what you experience in leveling phase, this is just the beginning of the game nothing more.

We talk again when you fail to ascend 5 times in a row wasting 6 hours of playtime doing nothing. Then you post again how good the combo-gameplay is.
GGG needs a new Creative Director and Game Designer.

Personally, I don't care about Endgame. Why is everything about Endgame? I've been there and while fun at times, It's not what I enjoy about ARPGs in general. It's more about the journey to get there. Trying different builds. Yes there are different builds and when we get more classes/weapons/skills, then there will be more.
The world is so beautiful. NPCs and enemies, the landscape, the spells and effects. I, along with so many others would love it if a controller zoom feature was implemented. I know there is a lot of pressure on the team to keep the player base happy, and this would be a pretty innocuous relative to major priorities, but I would be so happy to play the game and be able to see Wraeclast up close. Thanks for all you do, I am really enjoying everything put forth. Take care team!

Big dog, the whole point of ARPGs is the end game loot grind, and trying different builds.
As Storm mage Lich I would say game difficulty feels at right spot for me now. With quite good gear Im okay in T15-16 maps, map bosses are not down super fast nor take too long.
That I felt until I just tried simulacrum +0 today :D Meaningfull combat isnt working there. On waves 8+ my minions die like flies and perma dodge rolling isnt helpful :D Simulactrum is tunned for PoE1, not for our speed and options in PoE2. Also expedition casters with orange AoE are feeling very unfair with like 0,5s delay and dmg like truck. Otherwise I think expedition is okay - maybe not enough rewarding.

Mapping and towers are feeling good. New unique maps and strongboxes are also nice. Endgame loop is okay for now.

Overal I think game is on good spot, slower than PoE1 which is not bad, its just different game pace. I would say keep core game like it is - with some tweaks (simulacrun/expedition which you are working on already) and focus on adding remaining acts and classes so we have full base content asap. Dont focus too much on rebalancing everything (like you did in 0.2.0 - it wasnt needed at all), just some outliers.

After we have full base content you can then focus on final balance and expanding endgame with new seasons. Spending resources on full rebalancing now is waste in my point of view.

What I realy hope you will add before 1.0 release is ingame auction(shop), that will be huge step forward. I think when you allocate two programes and one designer they will be able to do such thing in few months. Im used to trade site since im playing PoE1 for ages, but...it would be realy nice.

AND before all of this - give us PoE1 season already ;)

Dude, you just started with this game and aren't even in the endgame yet. It's good that you have fun but don't forget that the negative feedback people give is mostly based on the endgame as that's where the majority of the players grind.
Came back this morning to try Viper in .2f. Respecced tree twice to be able to deal a little bit more damage, which helped me get her down to 55%. After many tries, getting random slammed, I realized that this game is no longer worth my time or effort to even try to understand.

It is very clear that the content is not respecting player growth, but instead, increases the mobs power by scaling against the players level instead of the zone level that was presumably set when you get to the zone in the first place.

That means that you can grind levels in order to have greater power/skills/passive, but it is irrelevant and just makes you weaker..

I arrived in Utzaal at level 43, and I am now 48 and the monsters have increased in power to match. One would rationally presume that loot would drop a bit more in hopes to find better gear, but it's all garbage.

In the past few days, I see that the fanboy Bot army has been unleashed, using AI generated excuses to defend this redesign, which is really what it is. The sad reality is that the games is unfun and unrewarding. Arbitrary brick walls in progression with overly powerful of complicated act bosses just give the impression that GGG really doesn't want too many people in the end game.

0.1 was not like that. I was able to progress two Act 3 cruel before 0.2 dropped, so the experience was noticeable and jarring.

The fun was sucked out of the game, and replaced with lockboxes and spirit animals. Oh yeah, loot was nerfed too. No Loot for You! Greedy whiners!

I'm done alpha testing this mess. When GGG support starts censoring posts and then fires up the AI Fanbots dialed up to 80% I know its time to get the heck out.

See ya next hotfix.
