GPU Driver-Crash Linux, workaround not working!
Hi,
I play on Linux, Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS and the workaround mentioned in the Interview is not working. It just freezes and after about 2 mins it randomly starts to flicker black every 7+ seconds or so. And it wont let me out, I have to reset the PC per button on the case. If it happens once it wont even let me into the main menu, it freezes beforehand, sometimes I can ALT+Tab but usually it needs a reset. It seems as if the Driver is totally broken for PoE2 after such a crash. And even changing the Driver does not fix it at the spot, I changed to different drivers yesterday just to stay at the 565.77 and thought I solved it because it seemed to work. But today I was just able to copy out my Items for PoB2 and it froze. I tried all different NVIDIA Driver Versions from the additional Drivers Tab in Ubuntu. I enabled Turbo-Game-Mode in the UEFI, it disables SMT and the 2nd CCD. I changed to Balanced Power mode, saw somewhere a post about Windows CPU utilization too high. Temperatures are all under 70°C, I can provide a Graphana Graph of my temps. I use Directx12 because Vulkan did not start with 550.x Drivers and 570.x Drivers - Freeze at Fullscreen. My PC: MoBo:ASUS RoG CrosshairX670E Hero (Bios Up to date) CPU: AMD 7800X3D GPU: GTX 1070ti NVMe SSD I would appreciate any help.
