Bosses are not dropping skill books

I was able to acquire two boss skill books, but then they stopped dropping, the atlas tooltip says that more points can be acquired by killing 79+ map bosses with higher difficulty, i have invested all my points in the tree and killed bosses even on 80+ areas, havent had third book yet.

I browsed the forums and apparently some people have had similar problem when they have died the same time boss died, im not sure but i think i probably had same experience at some point, that i killed boss and it dropped a book and i died after that and lost the book. Eitherway this needs to be fixed somehow, character is stuck on boss atlas progression 100%.

"the atlas tooltip says that more points can be acquired by killing 79+ map bosses with higher difficulty"

No. It says in maps with higher area levels and difficulties. You get 3rd one in area level 81 which means you have to play tier 16 map with irradiation on it. And 4th one in area level 82, which is tier 16 with irradiation on a map with corruption or cleansed that says "+1 to monster level of area".

There is no bug.
Look, the bosses probably didn't make it passed a 3rd grade reading level so of course they're not going to drop Skill books! They have nothing to teach us.

They obviously didn’t attend any of the prerequisite courses in ‘Giving good loot for dummies'. Just sitting there, pretending they didn’t hear the part about ‘rewards for hard-fought battles.’

Maybe they need to enroll in a ‘Basic loot distribution’ class before their next fight, because right now, they’re failing hard! So hard.

GGG needs to give bosses a study guide and implement better teaching practices!
When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails.
Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism
does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect.
