Glacial Bolt bug
Hi,
There seems to be an issue with the Glacial Bolt skill when using a crossbow. Certain types of monsters get repeatedly pushed back by the wall instead of the wall exploding as expected. This seems to happen with around 30% of the monsters in the game. Additionally, with abilities such as Explosive Shot, Glacial Bolt, Shockburst Rounds, etc., while I understand there's a reload mechanic with crossbows, there are times when my character appears to be stuck. I can still perform actions like moving or using other skills, but no bolts are actually fired—nothing comes out of the crossbow, even though I'm clicking the ability rapidly (10+ times per second). This unresponsive state lasts for around 2 seconds and can often lead to deaths. Let me know if you'd like examples of specific mobs or a video of the issue. Hoped it will be noticed in the new patch but unlucky, maybe they will do a hotfix or make a new patch soon with it fixed, it's simply annoying to be stuck on some mobs as they don't get treated correctly as most of the other mobs, also seems to be a problem with random boss(?) spawns on maps, maybe those are rogues but didn't pay attention, bug itself seems to be reported at december 2024 (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3631943) and still no response to that issue.

Same issue here. There is also problem with freeze buildup on "minion mobs". Rare is frozen after one-two hits and white minion needs 6-12 hits to freeze. Maybe it is also caused by hit point on them.

Same issue, makes the skill really annoying because I have to skip some enemies altogether.
Maybe related bug is that the crystals don't spawn in narrow corridors and bridges so maps like Dreadnought mean a ton of backtracking/kiting to make space for the crystals. Only to find out half of the enemies aren't affected anyway. Last edited by TheSathiran#7322 on Apr 12, 2025, 6:49:48 PM
