No realistic affordable increase in capacity would help. It's not capacity that's the issue, servers aren't full. They just cannot handle the rate of connection attempts. I'm no expert in the area but that's my understanding.

Why on earth it took them this long to own up I don't know.

Time to spend some cash and protect your product, you already have mine, so sort it out.

Still no improvements i guess then...

Evidence doens't really stack up for ddos...scale is low to start with..

1. the disconnects aren't at random.. or it would be more wide spread and a bigger issue for them, i have friends on the same servers who aren't affected.
2. unless its a kid without experience the target is all wrong going for the main servers, login is a way better easier and better target to do a ddos.
3. its obviously not causing overflows, load or capicity issues as again its not wide spread enough.
4. truely if it server flooding without client logins wheres the null routing come on ggg.


The silence on this either means they don't care ( rings true with the pushing of more microtransactions ) or they don't have a clue what is causing it.

That makes sense. I'll just have to keep switching servers I suppose

Is this still an issue?
Is it all EU servers or just London?

Having spent a few days on US servers with no disconnects at all I returned to London server yesterday. Since returning I have experienced several but nowhere near as frequently as before. So they are still on-going.

I'm playing nearly a week on Paris server and it kick me once. Where on London server on evenings it was kicking me out approximately every 15min. I wouldn't say it was a ddos cause frequency of kicks were depending how many users were on the server.

Ive spent 2 days playing again, and I used to play on London servers, but I tried Amsterdam servers and I havent been disconnected once. And i've not really had any ping issues either. FPS is clearly worse since the update, but that's only issue I've noticed.
