Which other games are you guys playing?
I haven't logged back since yesterday after seeing what they've done to the minion class.
So here I am, only playing chess, and I'd like to know which other games are fun to play thats is not 3D with moving camera angles and is specifially not made by Blizzard-Activision as I haven't touched any of their game since D3 and vowed to never do again. I just need a game to get some escape, I don't want to actually feel tortured when I'm playing. Last bumped on Apr 6, 2025, 4:10:06 PM

Was playing skyrim with 1600+ mods, completely new game-like, pretty modern graphics, but much better playability than like all recent games lmao. Modern devs stopped to produce quality games, they make money, not games most of the times.
Love civ V with community patch, it like a chess if properly played. And 2morrow will jump on witcher3 with tons of mods too. Never played this masterpiece, daughter convinced me, how can I resist!😁 P.s. And also I'm not recognising poe2 as a game yet, 100% miss. Love poe1 tho! And remenber how cool were minions in 3.13 or so. Last edited by DarkJen#6961 on Apr 5, 2025, 6:10:26 PM

Personally, I'm having a blast with Enshrouded, but it does indeed have moving camera and is also 3D, which "all" games are these days. So, if you do not want 3D games, I have to crack open my all time favorites list, that includes bangers like Heroes of Might And Magic 2 and 3, Broken Sword 1 and 2, X-Com: Enemy Unknown (the original), Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2. And if you want an animated version of a banger board game, check out Gloomhaven.
Good luck on your adventures. " Never played The Witcher 3? God... I would pay to erase that from my memory so I could experience it again. It is hands down the best game ever created, and probably one of VERY few games that has "awed" me after I turned 30. I really envy you for having a first playthrough. Easy on the mods on your first playthrough, though - my only advice. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you. Playing Elden Ring and enjoying GOOD Souls gameplay OFFLINE without online latency. Cause THATS how it should be.
Then playing Last Epoch on the 17th with PROPER ARPG elements and PROPER crafting system. And I'm even going to be able to play OFFLINE as well. Just asked for Steam refund on POE 2 but did not get refund. That means I will be buying my games from EPIC for few monts ;) That's how I can walk away with my wallet ;) | |
I've just been reading and raid logging/key logging WoW. I wish I enjoyed Last Epoch the way others did but I find myself getting bored after a couple days.
PoE2 is a great tutorial for PoE1.

" Yep, she said quite the same thing about erasing memory and jump into this game again. Thanks! And.. Why no mods? |

" Because it's the closes thing to perfect that the gaming world has ever seen. Can you improve perfect? No. Some mods would just make the experience worse, directly or indirectly. Of course, you do whatever floats your boat, but I never use mods on the first playthrough of any game. I do however mod the hell out of a game on my second playthrough :P Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
