Thanks for the reports.
If anyone could record this issue and upload a video of it occurring it can help us track it down much easier. In the mean-time we are looking into this with the information that we currently have. |

" FWIW I have this problem on xbox (which also has a massive amount of flickering) but I don't have this issue on PC. I have uninstalled the Xbox version because I'm tired of it always being broken. Yet another unpaid Path of Exile 2 Alpha Tester.

I'll provide more info.
You finish a map, go back to hideout, open the atlas and: 1) sometimes it shows the current position (but the adiacent maps are not available - no progress possible) 2) other times the map flips and you are surrounded by fog and bricked. When bricked other areas of map far away remain visible (but no progress possible) Notes: - i have previously explored a lot of atlas. - the cpu seems very loaded when moving around map - sometimes you can flip the map back entering a random waypoint and coming back; but it seems completly random - overall it's impossible to progress the atlas, either way Thank you |

Can confirm the symptoms mentioned in the post above. - Inclduing the awkward CPU load but that could be due to the randomly reappearing fog of war on the atlas.

Video is public. As mentioned by others, the biome keeps snapping its location between one atlas and another. Completion of the biome also doesn't unlock adjacent biomes. |

Here you can see the entire cycle of the bug. From completing a map to how the Atlas is behaving after completing it. |

This is exactly the issue I am having. None of the maps at home are complete, I can complete them temporarily sometimes and can get one more adjacent then it'll flip back. Maps farther away will not complete, sometimes it will take me back into a patch of fog. Atlas is also heavy CPU when loading , and I did also complete a ton of maps prior to 0.2
