abyss stops and and continue to feed small monsters endlessly

I have tried to get to the abyssal depths, I got once about 3 weeks ago. But after that I have met now 4 times just stuck abyss that just spit on the little monsters. this hapend after i took new idols improving them dunno what to do to fix this

Endless abyss is a very old bug that hasn't been fixed yet. Not sure what the exact spawn condition is when it just spawns infinitely instead of progressing normally. It just becomes more common by running more abyss. Last time I ran a lot of abyss was Wildwood league and I was getting it multiple times per day.

Has been reported hundreds of times by now. Unclear if it will be fixed anytime soon.

thx for the replay did help tho I stopped because I found out that I can't get to the abyss depths because I need all the abyss modifiers in idols and that is impossible because I would need to unlock everything first to do all the end game bosses. LOL. I liked idols at first but when I found out how impossible it is to do them. I'm not going to try the end bosses because the character I'm playing with doesn't work 1vs1 "spiderman" anyway thanks for the answer
