Archnemesis mods is biggest mistake in PoE and ways to adjust or fix it
" While I had no plans to run Phrecia, I deleted an unused character and got her to 80 in SSF. It was pretty clear there were some major disparities in the rares as some were within reason, but pretty frequently I'd come across rares that were worse than a map boss, or even some unique bosses like Izaro. And its not that I'm doing great damage (because I'm not) and I'm aware that damage over time got hit hard a while back but I did start from scratch as an solo self-found so I don't have the luxury of trade (tho I could migrate but not the point). But if this was the state I started in instead of the middle of abyss, there's no way I'd have played long. A lot of the rares are more dangerous than the unique bosses of the level range, especially when the terrain severely limits movement. Sure its definitely been toned down a lot since the original archnemesis league, but they also nerf plenty then turn around and add 5 levels to simulacrum or introduce t17 maps. Yep, totally over league play.
