They did, to avoid clashing with the PoE 2 release date. But you only showed up because PoE 2 is the FOTM game, so of course you wouldn't know that. It might be a good business move for GGG but after years building up a reputation of being the good guys of the arpg genre it's not a good look.

You're right. I came back to GGG for POE 2, so there's some context I missed. The point, however, remains the same. Being "the good guys" doesn't make corporate any money, and it doesn't mean anyone else is going to be nice to you if the situation was reversed. It's a business world, and you can't schedule your business around everyone else's business. You follow your schedule and do as you do. May the best game win.

It's nothing personal, which some here seem to act like it is. Ultimately, they always have a choice, and two realities can happen at the same time. You CAN alternate between the two games. It's your time, your dime.

Please bring player agency back, introduce more currency types, introduce better chase uniques, change the way endgame works (having to run unrewarding maps after doing a tower setup is tiring) and make better support gems that don't only add damage but change the way builds feel. Maybe you could look at the binding of isaac item interactions for some inspiration. It's obviously a different game but i feel like there's some cool support gems to be found there. Having support gems that add an arch between projectiles, or add splash damage/change the trajectory they're on or that change skills to be better able to shotgun etc would be cool.

It's called business. It would be stupid for GGG not to do that, but it's probably Tencent's decision anyway. Also, it's just how the industry works.

You mean Tencent that also have invested into Eleventh Hour Games? I can't believe that they would force this date, which would hurt another company they've invested in.
