is act 3 lunaris temple area optional?

I am in act 3 at the ebony barracks and I saw that that is an area called lunaris temple connected to it.
But I don't see any quests linked to lunaris temple. Is going to lunaris temple optional? If it is not important to go there, I would rather proceed straight to the imperial gardens. Any advice? 34pre98qua Last bumped on Mar 9, 2025, 2:51:59 PM

" I didn't manage to complete the game to endgame. The highest I reached I only up to act 6 or 7 and then I stopped playing for many years. Recently I just came back but alot of details I cannot remembers? or maybe many patches change many things? 34pre98qua

Ok, I think I solved the problem. When I went to town, suddenly the quests was trigger by the npcs to go to lunaris temple.
