Player numbers

Is it possible to see how many players are active in events or leagues on console?

I don't think this stat exists from GGG anywhere for any platform.

You can look at the ladder, which is the top 15000 characters by XP, but that's character's not accounts, and doesn't even come close to covering everyone.

On PC you can see the number of active players on Steam, but not the native client, so it's only a partial picture.

You cand kind of get a relative picture by searching for high rarity items on the trade market, but it's not like that actually gives you hard numbers, just a rough idea.
