Fair point to the bigger problems thing. Fingers crossed we are going to see a crafting league added or a rework of defenses maybe that is where the time went. I do like sanctum lol, but they prob should take ascendances out of them thoooo

More side content is more side content. As long as I don't have to touch it.

As for crafting, if this is how their bandaids look I don't want them to touch it. Whatever they want to do is gonna make things worse.

Unless they just give us back the crafting bench. I'll take that as a bandaid.

+1 to defending Sanctum. It's the only content I can do and enjoy at the moment as I've optimised it, keeps me away from the awful mapping experience, which is set to get worse.

In isolation, tower change should be good but problem is, on top of the objective bad layouts for some mechanics, there's a subjective: 'I am running this tower to juice maps I REALLY want to run'. Doesn't matter how fun a tower might be and how much content it gives (unless it's some ungodly amount but they will never do it), it will always be perceived as a mean to an end and as such, anything that makes interacting with them longer is going to be perceived as getting in the way of real fun, which is already in short supply post campaign. Their whole design principle forces this on players; players, which are attracted to this game and stick around are min-maxers by default, we could all chill the f out and go with the flow but we won't as it's against our nature. Hence, this is bad for GGG and really dampens the enthusiasm for .2, which I now think REALLY needs to bring out some big guns to make up for the disastrously un-exciting teasers we've had so far.
