Map Tab - Not worth the money, such bare bones
So, thus far the thing that has actually made me a little angry is spending money on a Map tab and then have it being a super basic implementation.
If I'm paying like $10 for a tab it better be darn good. It should: - Make noise when things are inserted - In guild mode, it should not only allow one tab to be viewed at a time (if someone else from the guild uses it I am forced to change to that tab) - It should have a way to set affinity based on attributes (e.g I should be able to have corrupted go to a certain tab, or burning ground go to a certain tab) - If I'm viewing a specific tab, and I control click something from my inventory - it should go to the current tab, not the first one. - I should be able to sort for Pete's sake, like how is that not a thing? - Each tab should tell you how many there are. - It should have auto-reforging, let me reforge from the tab and not have to transfer and go through all those clicks. - It should have gone through UX design, come on, this is the best you could do before making people pay for it? And it should have things that I haven't even thought of, cause i paid $10 bucks for it. I'm using it for our Guild, don't have a personal one. Last bumped on Feb 25, 2025, 8:27:06 PM

Just don't buy it if it's not worth it in your opinion.

already bought it, they don't offer you a way to "Try it out" - so how would I know?
It's definitely a tab that should exist, but it should have more features. And should also probably handle the precursor tablets. |

The worst part is it's a barely modified port from POE1 that took 3 months to drop

" It was an obvious cash grab. Wait 2 1/2 months so the majority of the player base already dropped the 300 on premium tabs while building up a frustration of manually sorting waystones. They had it ready the entire time. They'll probably add another purchase for precursors when 2.0 is released |

" To be frank, majority already has it for free from poe1, as those paid tabs are mandatory to play our "f2p" game. Doubt enough completely new players had reached the point where they would need paid tab array to progress, and decided to pay instead of ragequitting:) However it is true QoL still has glaring pitfalls, all those years and they cannot fix map conversion or add mass oil upgrade in poe1 tab (while already having it working in poe1 essence tab, lol). |

" We've already seen how players cleared all content with just the basic tabs and no trading, so I don't know what you are on about with the "mandatory" part. Sure they are a handy QoL but definitely not mandatory. lol But sometimes even handy QoL can't fix the term of skill issue, which we've seen plenty in the past. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Last edited by Pashid#4643 on Feb 25, 2025, 3:34:27 AM

And yet for a purchase it is insane value.
Because you get the tab in both games(or if you already had it in PoE1 you get it for free in PoE2) And that it is like 64 normal tabs worth of space (or 16 quad tabs) which would set you back $240 (non discount) vs $15 Is it perfect? no...will it change, probably it IS a beta. The only thing here i can see that would be of any benefit is affinities. And i'll disagree with the reforge thing, they should have the vendor system back in place Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

It's kind of funny because I bought the map stash tab during settlers because I heard that it would work in poe2.
Turns out the map tab is essential in Poe1 to easily tell you what maps you have done (that big old atlas map screen is hard to read) So what did I do for two months of early access? Spent 300 points on stash tabs because of all the random crap that exists in Poe2 that doesn't fit a specific tab. I even bought the delirium and essence tab. Then they come out with the map tab as I'm about to quit because I have two full tabs of maps and tablets and it's just too much the manage. I guess this should be a lesson to GGG to get the stash tabs done before releasing any content because the players hate inventory management. |

" Yeah, and maybe increased experience in a certain tab. So.. when you put a corrupted map with burning ground and increased experience in the stash,, what is supposed to happen? Split it into thirds? ^^ Oh.. and I think the map stash tab is well described... you better read before you pay.. ^^ |
