GGG does nothing about Scammers

If the scammers are never punished in any way then why even bother making the game at all? Nobody wants to play a game where people are allowed to rip you off and steal your hard earned currency.

I understand they're busy but they need to allocate at least one ressource for this for a month to clean the trash. This is straight up a heart breaking scam for a new player and I see it getting spammed in the trade chat. Whoever does that should straight up be permanently banned.

The fact that mirror scams are even happening in POE2 is also a failure. You could program the trade window to allow a player to mirror an item in the trade window, which would put the mirror greyed out (signalling it would be consumed), alongside the newly mirrored item. Then the mirror would only complete if the trade is accepted, which guarantees the person offering a mirror service also gets their 30 div fee.

GGG easily have the power to prevent these types of scams, and are willfully negligent in their refusal to do so. Disgusting.

Agreed, but I think they've already given themselves the "option" to do better in POE2.

Now in POE2 we can at least list our items for sale directly from our stash tabs, in the game. We don't have to post code on the forums to sell our items anymore.

That in theory gives them the opportunity to implement a WOW mail-type system, where they would keep the current website for searching trades, but would add an option to the website to buy the item directly. The purchase would then be completed automatically, even if you are offline, and currency would be withdrawn from your currency tab, and the item would be mailed to you in your inbox.

I believe this is their plan, but they are hoping players will "accept" the current trade system. We just need to keep badgering them and complaining about it.
