" You obviously have no idea what racing has been historically in POE or when and where this idea originated. Even in current POE1 races (Exilecon) they usually only race until the end of Act 5. It never ceases to amaze me how people here will bitch and moan about absolutely everything possible because they as a particular player-type do not get their cookie. I cannot win the race? Lets bitch about it. No freebies for everyone? Lets bitch about it. The race does not add endgame content to EA? Lets bitch about it. How do you people survive real life? Not everything has to cater to your specific preferences. And no, I will not participate in this race nor would I have a chance, but I still think it is cool that they are adding this a sort of an hommage to the very old days. And if it is just to tide over until the next big patch who tf cares. |

Pass. Not really interested in a race when most of the content is missing and balancing hasn't been done. I haven't played in a bit though so it is what it is.
I will say it's kind of fucked up that y'all would screw over so many people holding an event so early. Without the proper balancing it's clear that certain classes have a clear advantage. While there may be individual class races, the fact you have a prize for the absolute fastest, speaks to how much you dislike the certain players. There's 0 chance that anyone wins this playing melee. Just won't happen on a fresh race. Weird to think y'all giving out a computer for first overall is a balanced race lol |

sounds like a waste of time, first of all a single poor item doesn't like a nice reward and you just try to give people a carrot to buy yourself a time for a patch (people are already leaving...).
If you create a race then don't let everyone start at the same time - there should be something implemented that counts time separately for everyone - that means i can start later but clear doryani in a shorter time than others, people have jobs, live in different time zones. IF nothing changes then see you in next patch... maybe.... |

" Well what I am wondering is why cater to the 0.1% of the players instead of adding actual rewards obviously NOT as big as 2st place ,but small ones. You brought up POE 1 events similar to these. I did not play POE 1 but let me ask, were those events the same or other players were able to get something too? To me it feels like a big middle finger to the entire player base, but that's my inexperienced take on this. |
