Audience with the King desperately needs higher drop rate

pinnacle boss gated by this kind of rng is a joke.

I have 700 hours and have never found one. Neither have I ever found a logbook. I bought the logbook a few time to experience the boss, but i never got a boss either. I had to purchased these items to experience these two instances. This isn't even RNG anymore, it's actually preventing you from experiencing the full game, from playing the actual game. This is the next level of timegating. So yeah, i basically quit the game.

I haven't had as bad luck with logbooks, but I agree this is insanely stupid - especially in an EA where you would assume they want us to fight these bosses and test them as much as possible. It's also like the two of us haven't invested way more than the average player in the game.

True, a lot of players quit because of the ridiculous and insane mechanics.

Better of playing diablo 4 with no XP penalty.

I have no issue with the mechanics, and enjoy a game that takes a little skill. I'd rather poke my eyes out with salt spikes than play Diablo 4.

Are you targeting rituals in your maps? Using the tablets?
I've found like 6-8 in 2 days - approx 8 hours of game time.

I did for 2 weeks straight and didn't find 1. So I gave up on that method and farm breach mostly and just buy what I need. But this is silly that target farming the content is not the best way.

I've found 2 but they were in the same ritual... so now luck and then one moment of extreme luck.

I agree the drop rate needs to be higher, but something else is off if in 950 hours you have only seen two. I mean total hours doesn't really mean much. You could play that many hours and never do a ritual and therefore see 0 audiences.

A better metric would be how many ritual maps have you ran? If you ran 950 rituals and only saw 2 Audiences then there's a big issue.

I don't target farm rituals at this point (level 99.22 with 700 hours) and just do them when they pop up and I get audiences at a rate that I would consider okay. Again, I have all my ritual atlas points and don't care for target farming anything from KOTM.

I haven't tracked them, but my char has a couple mirrors of currency in it. I've played a lot of top end content, and I've done a lot of ritual (huge waste of time).

I started the EA off focusing ritual with no luck. Did 100s of rituals without a single audience and gave up. I've been doing them sporadically with tablets since then, not focused.

Made the post out of residual frustration because I just ran a set of rituals and felt like I just wasted my time looking at the worst loot I've seen since I was level 4.

I have 400 hours and I have only seen it twice. That's after doing some ritual farming. There was one time I did close to 40 maps and even reroll the page and didn't see it once.

The drops are so low that I am close to quitting. You can do 50 maps and only see 1 divine. I stopped picking up most loot as it's trash and crafting is all RNG. I won't be coming back until all acts are done and I hope by then, drops and RNG are much better.
