Repro steps
1. Open map device
2. Load a waystone
3. Traverse

Crash to dashboard

Expected
Portals load

Notes
Once I crashed and then when I went back, the waystone was already in the map and I could reuse it.
Another time, the waystone was loaded and the crash resulted in me losing 1 portal, but I could still attempt the map.
Repro rate about 20%.
