but having a monthly fee for poe2 while poe1 is still free to play isn't the worst idea since there are alot of folks who think like "if it's free it ain't worth anything", especially the players with their cheap consoles should have alot of money left to spend on games.

They're talking about the conversation you jumped into the middle of, which does have more implications, yes.

Holyspawn claimed that Chinese players have Chinese client perks while on PoE2's global servers, that other regions don't have.
Chinese players playing on the global PoE2 server don't have access to the Chinese PoE1 client's "perks".



There is a Global PoE2 client, where you can set the language to Traditional Chinese, along with a Hong Kong gateway that can be selected at the title screen--neither of which are options for the Global PoE1 client.

This is different from there being a Chinese release, where China has its own isolated ecosystem, and the additions made by Tencent like pets.



I'm simplifying things a little bit, but Holyspawn's argument here is "we should have pets because Chinese players have them and are playing on our Servers, giving them an advantage". This argument depends on Chinese players having pets in PoE2. Have you seen any in-game?

Holyspawn's only evidence so far has been "but look, this AI said what I wanted it to!" AI isn't exactly a reputable source, as I'm sure you understand.

If you look up their POE 2 website, they have looting pets.

Holyspawn is right they have looting pet, but Chinese players and global players probably aren't on the same ladder. However, a Chinese player can generally play on a global server if they wanted to.

Your Link lead to the startpage of their poe2 thing, I haven't actually seen any pet that outloots to buy for the actual current version. (or as a subscription)
Another point is this, I haven't found any indication that these pets exist on any search engine. All other LLMs after having citing a source also have no actual source that there are pets that can autoloot.
