" And how many games have YOU developed? Have you ever even worked as a community manager for one? Do you have any training in game development, or even project management? The truth is, you have no idea what they're working on and what timetables they're running. And there's a reason for that. If you start advertising full transparency, then the community is going to act like THEY are in charge and start dictating the process. Early access is defined in Wikipedia as: Early access, also known as alpha access, alpha founding, paid alpha, or game preview, is a funding model in the video game industry by which consumers can purchase and play a game in the various pre-release development cycles, such as pre-alpha, alpha, and/or beta, while the developer is able to use those funds to continue further development on the game. Those that pay to participate typically help to debug the game, provide feedback and suggestions, may have access to special materials in the game. The early-access approach is a common way to obtain funding for indie games, and may also be used along with other funding mechanisms, including crowdfunding. Many crowdfunding projects promise to offer access to alpha and/or beta versions of the game as development progresses; however, unlike some of these projects which solicit funds but do not yet have a playable game, all early access games offer an immediately playable version of the unfinished game to players. So, there's your reason for not getting all the gritty development details for you to find new complaints to rattle off, and the definition you requested because you couldn't be bothered to do a 3 second search yourself. Now, if you want to take your ball and go home, by all means. Otherwise, sit the eff down and be quiet. |

" So now I have to be a dev to expect paid product to not be damaging to my hardware? [Removed by Support] I have provided my feedback, the game is broken and not fit for purpose, actively dangerous to user's hardware. And no, I'm not a tester, I'm a CUSTOMER. PAYING. CUSTOMER. [Removed by Support] I do not know where you live but here in EU there is such thing as PRODUCT FIT FOR PURPOSE, and there are legal consequences to product not being fit for purpose. If you sell a PRODUCT, you have a CONSUMER DUTY to fulfill. GGG is focused on milking microtransactions while ignoring GAMEBREAKING BUGS and puting our hardware at risk. [Removed by Support] [Removed by Support]. If YOU wan't to leave, it's up to YOU, but don't tell me what to do with my money or my time. Providing feedback is not just about sucking up to the devs but mostly about pointing out PROBLEMS TO BE FIXED. Devs are not your friends, they never will be, it's a transactional relationship and I expect value for my money. Last edited by Vash_GGG#0000 on Feb 19, 2025, 2:52:41 PM

" [Removed by Support] If your version of constructive criticism is "this game sucks! I got robbed!", then you missed the point of EA ten miles back. And there you are again with your "I'm a paying customer!". [Removed by Support]...you contributed to a developing game and got a toy to play with in the meanwhile. If you did your due diligence, you would have known it's a beta with issues. And your "fit to purpose" line only applies to retail products sold, i.e. Cyberpunk, where it was proven that they knowingly SOLD (key word here) a broken retail product. If you refer back to my definition, you'll see that this is NOT a retail product, but rather a source of funding for a beta product for a FREE TO PLAY GAME LATER THIS YEAR. I'm not even a lawyer and I ripped that one apart easily enough. [Removed by Support] As for the "it's bricking computers!" line, there's been a few reports..and none of us know a damned thing about their system, what they were doing with it, how it was built, etc. I recently bought a system that a month after I got it, it started blue screening constantly. Turned out the gpu was bad. Replaced the gpu, problem solved. These people complaining about the restarts and bricking...it COULD be something like that. I'm not saying it is and sucks for those people, but that you and me...we don't know. But you'll find every damned way you can to put 100% of the blame on GGG because you want the fail. [Removed by Support] It's $30. You didn't buy GGG for $30. You don't get to tell them how to develop their own game. You want to add value to your $30? Report some bugs and help others with their bug issues. [Removed by Support] Last edited by Vash_GGG#0000 on Feb 19, 2025, 2:48:59 PM

I am playing on a custom resolution (2160x1856) and have been affected by the aspect ratio bug when playing with a gamepad. It previously enforced the 16:9 ratio. After the patch it just forces 16:10 ratio so the bug has not really been fixed.
Anyone with a custom resolution can confirm? |
