The more I look into it the more I like it. This event should be a 3 months league. At least. PoE 2 can wait.
And honestly all those permanently-dissapointed people in comments... I dont get it. Guess this is some state of mind which cannot be changed...

Hello GGG team! I have a question about forbidden jewels. They gonna work for this event?

I'm hyped about new classes and Idol system and hope we get more time to experiment - 4 months please :)

So its literally gonna be a downgraded settlers because you have no atlas and you have new ascendancies that might not work out well, why would anyone play this event?
Its literally just 2 additional months of kalguur but with no atlas, this is pretty pointless, and i dont think i want that armour set because its again same mechanics of core league like before, why can't you just add back affliction league for this eventm it can even be slightly nerfed but still playing settlers is boring, nobody wants to re do their town FOR THE THIRD TIME

Extend the event to 3 months to be honest, this is enough content to let us experiment and have fun for more than 3 motnhs, 19 ascendancies alone is so much, that if one would like to test all of em even 3 months might be too short. Basically the amount of content warrants a normal league duration.
