placed a weapon in secons slot and DPS went from just under 20k to 3k and will not revert

Hello,
My character is completely gimmped atm no matter what I try, It all started when I put a staff in the secondary slot, then went into a tower and could not kill anything in any sort of a timely manner I looked at my DPS and it went from just under 20k for spark to under 3k dps, I then took the staff back out and the DPS on my spark remains at just under 3k, the only thing I did was swap the staff into secondary then back out on a lvl 92 Witch. Does your staff have attribute points on it? Perhaps removing the staff lowered your Int/Dex/Str and disabled some of your gems.

the thing is I was fine, put staff in, nerfed, took staff back out stayed nerfed

seems like I am bugged, I have pretty good knowledge of the system, poe 1 player with multiple poe 2 toons. no changes at all except staff in, went to tower could not kill, staff out and dps stays exactly the same at new low number, did not change any support skill or spirit gems

my stats are fine nothing is over my str/dex/int

oh sorry, I also went and took out every gem/support and put them back in to see if it was something like that and still got the nerfed dps
