What does patch 0.2.0 (or future) NEED to make me play again...
Probably nothing, which is a shame, because I have been with PoE1 since open beta.
They lost a ton of player goodwill with their utter lack of communication and letting us know what they are working on and what their plans for the future are the way Chris used to. He literally posted a development manifesto for every league stating what the goal if it was and how they were planning to improve it while it was running. Now GGG works behind closed curtains, assuring us that they are "working hard" on .020 but I'll believe it when I see it. So far their patches are single issue fixes, like they have an intern doing all their troubleshooting. On top of that they dumped PoE1 completely after promising us that they would run the two games side by side for years. And then they moved PoE1 team to polishing the turd that is PoE2. Going back to LE, at least they let their player base know whats on the horizon. |

The map of poe2 is very bad.
Those grass trees on the ground are totally meaningless rubbish. It also blocks the line of sight and wastes system resources without optimization. I really don't know what's going on in the minds of those designers. I have no ability to optimize the program. Don't pile up all kinds of flashy special effects without thinking. As a brush brush game. Running the road repeatedly every time is a super failed design. |

I think some large anime oppai would do the trick for me.
Or if they removed the "economy" and made this a good single player game like it's dying to be. |

" As much as I love GGG's games, TEDIOUS is the keyword GGG is in love with. They don't know how to make things hard or challenging, so they make them tedious. They like to drag things out, and make us be "plugged in" longer and longer each league. Not that long ago I was 100% done with the league by week 2, bored to tears by week 5-8, and ready to take a 1 month break before new league... It was a fantastic system frankly |

"No. I want to feel lost in huge maps, not zoom through theme park rides. Even now the maps feel too short for my taste and I'd welcome even more expansive layouts. Some maps should be small and short for flavor, but others should be bigger. |

" While that is up to personal taste, the issue is, we dont get a choice, because its all random. You go to an area, and all the rituals are on maps you hate. You slap in a 10 map precursor, and it lands on 6 maps you hate. If i had more control on the maps i want to run, it wouldnt be bad, byut 85% of the maps suck, and i have ZERO ways to avoid the ones i hate. |

" You mean 0.2? and what previews? there's no info on what they gonna implement in 0.2 AFAIK Tech guy

" I've seen users on youtube bring up a list of patch notes about up coming patches. (The patches are tested before they are releaed and some of that info is leaked). And all I saw on the video was bug fixes and minor changes to game systems. I'd be more than happy if they were wrong. Though I'm waiting for a new league to start a new character. " I'd love if they added something to the atlas passive to reduce or increase the area sizes. Maybe remove or add certain features to the areas as well. Something that doesn't force massive maps on me or small maps on you. A good compromise. |

They 100% need to pull the camera back a bit, it is way too zoomed in. It seems that mobs can see and target you before you can see them due to how restrictive the camera is. This was NOT the case in Diablo II.
