0.1.1c Patch Notes

I'm on Windows 11 24H2 and game did not crash again so far. So, thanks for that. And of course also for the other stuff in the update. But the most important question besides crashes is, when will you please fix the server lag spikes that huge amount of people is still reporting?

Yep, they are slightly better at "squizeeng", but almost no difference tbh.

Win10/3070/Ryzen9-5900HX

No real crashes, unless I try and run Dx11, Vulkan won't even start.

Currently QHD on Dx12 w/ DLSS 4 and Global Illumination and almost everything else at low. Best overall performance/image quality for me.
25-75 FPS low-high, generally around 40-60 FPS this patch which is good and noticeably more consistent. Still noticeable drops on anything that spawns monsters (stongbox, breach, ritual, expedition).

TL:DR
0.1.1c returned to 0.1.1 performance, in my case.
And I'm glad I never updated to Win11 despite them nagging me constantly.

this patch also introduced crashes for me.
ran fine so far, never had a single crash.
now it crashed 3 times in a day.
2 times after I selected a character and pressed play, it just returns to desktop. 1 time during tweaking my passives.
no blue screen or error message, just a hard quit.

it's early access, I understand this is part of the deal.

Unfortunately this feature is either not working or is nowhere near enough to make any effective difference.

Minions are still stuck just as much as before.
The improvement would have to be SIGNIFICANTLY better for it to be even noticeable.

Go to "my account", look on the right side and find "rename character". Works flawlessly.

They promised a lot of things and delivered NOTHING. It's been 2 months of EA and this patch was the most ridiculous of all, they could have implemented all of this little by little during these months, but they held it back just to make it seem like something important. Don't compare BG3's EA with this garbage that is POE2.

That's a biased opinion. There have been "little additions" that were welcomed by all, such as more checkpoints, as an example. What YOU'RE mad about is that you didn't get all the things YOU wanted RIGHT NOW.

Not even close. This game has both a lot more than POE 1 and some less things than POE 1 that I'm sure will get added as time goes by. Did you forget this is "Early Access"? Were you expecting a game that will launch FTP later this year to release a perfect version early for some unknown reason?

Many people believed that this game would be different and better than PoE1, I believed it, but this game is just a disappointment.
Don't get upset about charges and people who don't like the game, relax. Or are you an unpaid GGG employee?

Then don't play. Leave. Find some space for your mental health to recouperate. POE 2 was never meant to pay your bills and clean your house and put food on the table. It's an escape that many are enjoying. I'm sure there's an escape out there that's right for you.
