I have nothing but respect for GGG that steps up to their mistakes and try to reconcile.. they have ALWAYS been this way..

And they can and will also fail from time to time.. the important part is that they own up to it instead of just making excuses all the time..

define "apology" . It's doesn't look like apology, more like excuse "oh well we have poe 2, poe 1 dropped because of that". And now this "event" looks like just another beta test for poe2. Like I unironically ready for this and we did it many times while I just want to play a good game as before and to play ACTUALLY FINALLY MELEE SHADOW

So what do you want? Do you even know?

Do you want them to magically release a fully fledged high effort PoE1 league while also pumping out PoE2 content every other week? How do you come up with this?

You just want to play a good game? Then login and play. PoE1 is in a very good state. Don't want to? Then don't login, do something else and come back later for either PoE1 or PoE2. Why is this so hard for people? You just complain, complain, complain.. and it's not even constructive.

They release a brand new successor game with a lot of content for EA state - people cry.
They apologize for not managing to bring a new PoE1 league - people cry.
They offer at least a fun event for the time being - people cry.
They release a new league which doesn't live up to the best ones yet - people cry.

Oh, and it's also a free product people are crying about. Let's not forget about that.

No economy reset ? this event will be voided 99.99% so...

I'm not a game dev, but I imagine it would be relatively easy for them to have newly created characters in a league start at whatever game state they desire (i.e, post-campaign). Whether they are willing to do this or not.. well all we have to go on currently is their statement of implementing "wacky ideas", so it seems as fair game as anything else.


Regarding voided, maybe.. but 99.999% seems excessive, especially considering necro-settlers wasnt voided.

Yes thats a good idea. We get at least something new and you get the most intense alpha testing of every stuff that didn't made it in a league so far. throw everything at us!
