Update your NVIDIA Drivers if you have the multithreading bug!

Recently, if you have updated to Windows 24H2, There is a Nvidia driver 572.16 which should be in your Nvidia app. Go update now if you have Windows 24H2 and would like to have multithreading in PoE 2 or PoE 1!

The new drivers doesn't fix anything to do with poe2. It's not even on their driver notes.

Some vague post from a nvidia employee on reddit weeks ago isn't proof of anything actually being fixed. This isn't even a Nvidia problem in the first place.

I actually got a huge drop in fps in POE2 after updating the driver, from stable 50-60 to drops to 20fps and max 50. I'm thinking aobut doing a rollback

after last patch+latest nvidia driver,

i can no longer run ultimatum. it crashes (to desktop, without message) as i enter and then my token is deleted and i cant get back in.

happened 3 times in a row.

Also still crashing between maps and towns after nvidia update.

still crash at loading and login screens yea no fix becuase its not an Nvidia issue or windows issue
i read my logs its assets in their game refusing to unpack and crashing their engine.
then there is the way point crashes and when mobs spawn out of site this can also crash the game

i have an 14 gen I7 k series 32 gigs of 6k mhz ram an a ssd paired with a 3070 Auros master on a MSI Military grade mobo.

finaly, someone saying what the actual issue is. THE GAME. not windows, not nvidia, not any other bs excuse they wanna sh*t down our throats.

GGG's game is fucked, they know they're out of excuses and are gonna have to own up to it now, plus them abandoning POE1, really showing that "player first focus" huh? ;)

Same here. Today updated nvidia drivers to 572.16, now crashing much more frequently while entering the game, towns, portals, one deep freeze of the PC, hard reset. I play multiple games, only poe 2 crashes or silently exits.

Probably you're very right about unpacking issue - crash / quit behavior of the game points to that issue, probably even more when the game is installed on nvme drive, like in my case. Because after several attempts of entering it plays for some time without problems. But as i see, ggg doesn't care about it at all. They don't even have the time to read bug reports. GGG is not GGG we knew. Chris quit, company is now 100% owned by Tencent, but it's life, probably progress, who knows ?

Hit me too. Updated to NVidia driver 572.16 last night from driver 566.xx I think it was. Now, game crashes to desktop with no error message, between the GGG logo screen and the dual gear screen as it, tries to login?

I have since uninstalled, cleared cache, and reinstalled with effect; crashes the same.
