" I have some tough news for you. They DID copy POE1 and then screwed up systems that were absolutely perfect. They copied, pasted and destroyed. There is nothing in POE2 that isnt in POE1 and implemented 10x better except the new gem system which is garbage. |

" POE2 has damaged POE1. Obviously given the 7+ month league delay. The longer it stays out of the minds of people the less people will come back. GGG decided not to hire more people to develop POE1/2. They got overconfident and will probably rush to hire more people, but that will take more time from POE1 to teach the new employees. POE1 will continue to be placed on the back-burner for years since it is the old game. Will this kill POE1? Probably, but slowly. Is it Tencent's fault? I don't know the inner workings of GGG to guess that. |
