My support went for both games not just POE2
Actually my support was for GGG as company because they did a great job. And to say i wasnt exicted for poe2 would be a lie. So i also supported the development of POE2.
Unfortunatly at the moment, after giving it a fair chance, i dont enjoy playing it. I can wait for them to improve and i will look back into it. I really was looking forward to a new POE1 league. It makes me very sad its not only delayed, but they even cant tell me when i could expect it. And its hard to accept that still noone is putting real work into it. Im not interested in the next patches of POE2. Its impossible to improve the game as much as it has to be to make it a joyful expiriennce for myself. As its GGGs decision to handle this situation like they chose to, its my decision to hold back any money until i am confident the work they are doing is going in the right direction and most importantly provides a fun gaming expierence to me, like they did in the last decade + the trust i put money into something that continues to provide this. It can be by playing POE2 (though this will probably take a lot of time for ggg to do) or by continued support of POE1. And i dont pay 60 bucks a league for supporter packs if i have to beg for continued support. It would have been so much easier to wait for improvements on POE2, while POE1 was still an option. PoE 2 is a cash grab. Just request a refund and move on.

" Thats silly. Noone forced anyone to buy EA. And some people didnt have to pay to try because we already put a lot of cash in poe1. I dont regret any money i spent on POE1. |
|
" nope i am talking about you and counted at least 2 different posts by you where you told others to give negative steam reviews. there are still there on page 4 of your history :) |
|
" I don't regret anything I spent on PoE1 either but I do regret supporting PoE2. If I wanted to play Ruthless, I'd just play Ruthless, they didn't to make an entire game around it and misleadingly sell it as a PoE sequel. It's $100, it's not the end of the world, but it's certainly a purchase I am regretful of and wish I could take back, especially now knowing that they are no longer supporting the product that I was actually supporting. |

"I did it once, in solidarity with the guy who kept pushing both topics for visibility (which is important, especially when both topics exceed 900+ pages) because unfortunately, they got put on probation. Again, your point is? |
|
" my point is to be a little patient. GGG is working on it. maybe not fast enough for your liking but patience is a virtue. negative steam reviews have real life consequences. there is no ned to be so mean to GGG |
|
" you people are actually COOKED. "it's half baked" brother in christ that is literally what an early access game is. go outside or something |
|
"There is a stark difference between PoE 1 players malding because their toy doesn't get much attention for the foreseeable future and a paid early access game, which is also this companies halo product, which ultimately can't be played by many due to technical short comings. I'd say, just purely from a business perspective - including some consumer laws (EU has good ones, you should read up on them), fixing that game and possible hardware breaking bug deserves all the priority it can get. It's common sense ;) |

Who cares if it's early access or it's not? It has nothing in common with PoE1 and calling it a sequel is predatory and misleading marketing. It's a cash grab using a proven name to mislead customers into a purchase of a sub par product.
Imagine if Blizzard made a cookie clicker game and marketed it as Warcraft 4, a direct sequel to Warcraft 3. That's PoE2. |
