My support went for both games not just POE2

I supported GGG financially because they repeatedly assured us that POE1 would continue without any issues.

I backed them because I was led to believe that if I got bored with POE2, I wouldn’t have to just sit and wait for a content patch — POE1 would still have its usual leagues. My support was for both POE1 and POE2 development, not just POE2.

Now, I’m not happy with POE2. In my opinion, it still needs a lot more content before it can reach the level of POE1 (though it’s on its way). In the meantime, I wanted to enjoy the full POE1 experience, but it seems that won’t be possible for at least half a year.

Yes, the Kalguur league is still up, but there are no players, which means no trading, no parties, no chat—it's essentially dead.

I just feel like my financial support for POE2 is now causing POE1 to suffer. If I had known this would happen, I wouldn’t have supported the game.

It might be an unpopular opinion, but if I had to choose between POE1 and POE2, and only one could survive, I would choose POE1.

So what now? Can I get a refund? (just rhetorical question - of course not)

And it will once they figured things out. This is the first time they released an additional game - if you supported them before, you can afford to give them the benefit of doubt.

Patience is a virtue.

glad I didn't spend shit on PoE2

GGG been lying for months, knowing this shit all along, and also while making the dumbest leadership decisions

>hur dur will taking the poe1 team off of poe1 for 6 months negatively impact poe1?

>hur dur there's always more time, something that I, a game director with years of experience, clearly know based on all the times there's been more time prior

absolute joke of a company nowadays, the 4chin greentext post might not be so fake after all omegalul

I did, due to the fact that there is a game breaking bug that affects thousands of players and their PC's. To this day, this isn't fixed. But pray tell, how is that related to PoE 1 being on hold for now? Oh wait, it isn't. Again, your point is?
I am actually quite furious, I support poe1 because I like poe1. I actually do not care about poe2, it's half-baked and as long as poe1 runs normally I really don't mind if poe2 is not at a great stage.

Yet here they are, making me regret ever supporting them.

also, they are breaking promises now so why should I give the benefit of the doubt to them? So they can disappoint me more? sounds like a great idea! ..no

you mean the win11-24h2 bug or the nvidia bug? you know they have nothing to do with GGG so asking people to leave negative steam reviews is really uncalled for.

The bug that locks up peoples machines is neither W11 24H2 nor Nvidia related. It also happens on 23H2, W10, Linux and AMD GPU's. Not that you would know, since you're not affected, and likely didn't do any research other than repeating some bits and pieces you might have picked up on these forums.

just for arguments sake lets say you are right, is it then appropriate to make multiple posts telling others to leave negative steam reviews just because they are not doing something fast enough for your liking? "patience is a virtue" as you were so quick to tell the Op...

GGG is doing the best they can. they even have it in their top priority list

"
High priority issues:

Investigating cases where some players experience crashes related to Multithreading and have to restart their PCs. This seems to mostly be for players with the Windows 24H2 update.

Are you by chance confused or just challenged? I'm not the guy repeatedly asking for negative steam reviews. The person you're looking for is here (https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Cainrith-2807) but you'll probably assume it's just another of Pashid's accounts.

But yeah, I stand by my word - patience is a virtue indeed. ;)
