Flicker Strike Monk , optimized for mapping

It turns out that getting Power Charges is very easy, so we’re switching to Flicker Strike with automatic charge replenishment:

All you need is Profane Ritual—why didn’t you tell me this earlier? 😆

The tree is slightly adjusted, and I highly recommend picking either Subterfuge Mask or Lust for Power on a Megalomaniac with something else useful.

Also, Falling Thunder looks really cool! In the video, it's a 5-link setup with the Ricochet support gem.

Spoiler
Most likely the last upgrade. I don’t see much point in improving further—items that would make a noticeable difference cost 20+ divines. In that case, it’s better to transition into stacking attributes, but why?

Why would you need this?

If you primarily enjoy running maps fast, clearing Breach packs with a single button, and don’t want to go into a stacker build, then consider this setup.

Why did I decide to publish this?
While optimizing the build, I watched several guides on YouTube and didn’t quite understand many of their decisions—both in terms of budget and damage/survivability balance.

The main differences from most similar builds:
-The tree includes +3% +3% +6% movement speed and 20% reduced slow effect, plus a gem that reduces the slow effect from the main ability.
-Large ability area: 3.0 for the Herald and 9.2 for the main ability. To achieve this, you need a total of 34% increased Area of Effect from jewels.
-The focus is on high first-hit damage and good attack speed, so the Upheaval gem is not used.
-Everything is optimized to minimize skill clicks—I play with a gamepad and enjoy it.
For the same reason, I recommend Megalomaniac with Overflowing Power to reduce the need to manually maintain staff charges.

My setup is quite flexible, easy to replicate, and all the gear is readily available—except for Megalomaniac (I’ll explain that later). It works even with worse gear than mine, and mine is far from perfect.

Rarity:
Spoiler
It’s not hard to stack Rarity; most of the time, I was running with 150% and effortlessly geared up my build while farming corrupted maps (not all of them, of course) without Delirium. Now I have 180%, and flat divines are not rare at all—it's actually rare not to get a few in an evening. A lot of uniques drop, and by corrupting them, I’ve made some decent profit!

The latest version with the Ingenuity belt turned out to be quite strong:
https://youtu.be/lF8DlBWk6RM
I don’t plan to upgrade it further. In theory, transitioning to attribute stacking would be the next step, but I don’t see a reason to do so for myself.

In the other videos, the first two are from an earlier PoB, while the character in the third one is noticeably stronger.

PoB 1:
The one I recorded the video with, using five-links and only one six:
https://maxroll.gg/poe2/pob/fy58707d
POB 2:
Further optimizations—accuracy turned out to be unnecessary, so gems were adjusted:
https://maxroll.gg/poe2/pob/vy5fc05j
POB 3:
Current character—since I had 65 divines lying around, I bought a belt, a ring, and gloves. The latest video with Xes was made using this setup. You definitely need jewels with "Stun Threshold from Energy Shield"—I have three of them:
https://maxroll.gg/poe2/pob/u15bz054

Now, the bell attack is done with the standard attack, but Blink is still present.
Item Links
Adjust according to your budget. If you’re interested, I can explain the item selection logic in more detail.

Weapon
Spoiler
You need to look for high physical DPS. "Increased elemental damage" is very useful, and "flat fire damage" is even better. I picked up several staves for 5-10 divines.
Crit can be sacrificed first, but I’d still recommend at least 13+.
And Soul Cores MUST have a critical strike multiplier—I still don’t understand why everyone goes for physical/elemental damage...

Rings
Pick up resistances as needed—I literally found mine on the ground, no joke.
Note that there is a unique ring with a corruption for +10% to all resistances, which is much better than putting +5% into gloves and boots instead of Rarity.

Jewels:

https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/search/poe2/Standard/BmknaZ3u8

I recommend taking Megalomaniac with Inner Faith and a second useful node—having just one isn't worth it. I have Overflowing Power. There are many useful nodes you can pick from.

My item rarity is 150%, and you can increase it further quite easily with a higher budget or by replacing a unique ring with a rare one that has rarity and resistances, freeing up other gear slots.

Other Gear Considerations
Spoiler

Stack resistances, rarity, and whatever else you need. Ideally, get some Strength somewhere so you don’t have to allocate points for it in the tree.

Evasion boots are significantly cheaper than Energy Shield ones—you can sacrifice some ES in exchange for evasion. Ideally, go for hybrid ES/Evasion boots.

One of your jewels should have "% of Mana recovered on Kill"; ideally, it should also include "% of maximum Energy Shield as additional Stun Threshold."

A unique jewel for better mobility (6% movement speed and reduced slow effects) is nice but not mandatory.

As for Megalomaniac, I’d recommend getting the Overflowing Power, this is just for comfort. If Megalomaniac doesn’t have a second useful node, it’s not needed. There are plenty of good nodes available.

If you don’t have fire damage on your ring or weapon, Invocation won’t work properly. However, this isn’t a big issue for maps—it can be solved with six passive points and anointment for extra fire damage, a hybrid chest with a different anointment, a second socketed ring, or a Megalomaniac with nodes like Volcanic Skin or Burning Strikes.

Mapping
I run maps without Delirium—I don’t like the lag and visual effects (gray screen and reduced visibility).

For demonstration, I ran a Citadel with Delirium. I don’t swap rings for bosses or enable Winter Orb—this is just to show that the damage is sufficient even with worse gear, but with some adjustments:

https://youtu.be/1zs_9R159mM

Bossing
T16 K'Sesh 4—done poorly (I killed bosses for Atlas progression, but I don’t usually do this, so I lack practice). It is what it is. It should be clear by now—I don’t recommend bossing with this setup. It requires ramp-up time, and the damage isn’t that high. But hey, you can clear maps with a single button!

T16 K'Sesh with an updated setup (the ring should have a socket and mana leech). I swap Inspiration into Eye of Winter and trigger it with Cast on Shock.

Glad to hear that! Feel free to reach out if you have any problems or questions. I'd be happy to help.
Take note – I’ve updated the all PoBs (gem setup optimized) and the weapon link.
