General Discussion - Ahem, Can I have an apology from all the people that flamed me for saying GGG dropped POE1 support? - Forum

Recently I posted a couple of threads about GGG having dropped POE1 support and was flamed like a forest fire for saying so. Would be lovely to hear people admit that I was right. When GGG moved resources from POE1 to POE2 they announced the end of POE1 right there. Now in a tweet they admit they are not coming out with a POE1 league any time soon. Since they are owned by Tencent who is probably calling the shots, there is no way Tencent will want them to move resources to POE1 from POE2. Tencent is a bunch of bean counters and you would be STUNNED (as I was when I worked for Electronic Arts) at the small percentage of people at AAA studios that play games at all. My experience at EA was less than 1 in 20 played ANY video game. Since the bean counters are running GGG all they care about is parlaying that estimated $30m to $60m they got off the early access release into a cash cow. They could care less if the game completely sucks. GGG Sold out and now its obvious. I regret purchasing the Liberator of Wraeclast pack for POE2 now. February was already frustrating news for a lot of ppls, i assume even though somewhat expected. This is really really really disappointing and considering the fact that they actually have two teams, this should not have happened at all.
