A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

I support this. POE2 is the future. Support the future. Bury the past.

At least make an event or something would be way funnier than poe 2

So you guys did a Bad decision and "the fix" is another bad decision.

I am utterly disappointed. Almost everything went wrong. The whole idea of two separate and supported games was DOA. PoE2 not affecting PoE1? Yeah right same as console porting. Making fundamentally different game that takes time to really gather steam is one thing, but the other one is left to dust. Why not just announce end of PoE1 officially. GGG, you will not be able to keep both games up to the standard you have set.

If next PoE1 season gets bad reviews its done deal; people will see it as a writhing cash cow. Please do not make that mistake.

As a player that has only cared about Path of Exile, and never had any interest in PoE2 because it will take years of development before I would enjoy it, this is very upsetting.

Why does the game I have supported for years suddenly have no dev team because a pet project is on fire??

Just merge the league into standard ffs so I can play my league character on Standard. League is dead anyways not like I'm selling anything anyways.

I don't necessarily mind that we were lied to about PoE2 not affecting PoE1 - shit happens. But to KNOW that a new league was 7 months away, and now even more, and not say anything? That just feels awful.
