A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

I'll be back when PoE 1 league launches. If it, and I predict it will, releases poorly and in a rushed state, that's the last bit of time I will devote to PoE in general.

PoE 2 has dragged the good out of me honestly. Too many bad or poorly implemented systems like charms, wells, towers and poor endgame just exhausted me. On top of Settlers x 2......

This hit me harder than expected

poe 1 had received the blizzard treatment, what a letdown after 12 years of support

we can understand delays while you are being transparent with us but lying on your playerbase its off limits specially like that

If they would release 3.26 nearly nobody will play this Poe2 mess (which is a letdown by itself).

A Person with one left Braincell can understand what he said, the development is totally focused on Poe2, all timelines were broken and they said nothing at all.
(like: Guys we have Problems, it will take this or that. Just like beeing...lets say,transparent.)

Finally after some massive pressure of the Community they come out with having no plan at all and still People trust them, I dont get it. Its a game (sorry, two games), no religion.

This constant assumption that everyone who loves PoE1 will automatically enjoy poe2 is really annoying and untrue. And it might have gotten us into this mess.
GGG seem to have thought the same.

I think the lesson here is that internal guidelines about not moving too many team members from one game to another has to be ironclad, regardless of how many delays one project has to suffer. Cus if you do it this way, you're just shuffling the delays from today from one game to the other game tomorrow.

Wow people are really just trash huh... so many of these comments from trash people who claim to be supporters.

They messed up, they are still a relatively small company down here in New Zealand. And they've come out and said hey, we messed up we are sorry but we will get back to POE1 in the future.

Thats a better message than most dev companies out there would do.

Come play bloody football manager, now thats a how to not run a game company right there...
