A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

By far the most disappointed I've ever been with GGG. Even with some of the less than amazing leagues in the past, I was never quite THIS disappointed. 'PoE2 will not interfere with PoE1' yeah right.

It should have been a no brainer that the existing product receives priority. You definitely could have afforded to push back the PoE2 beta launch. Throughout the years I've seen the community be very supportive and understanding when things need more time. Most would rather wait and it be good and ready rather than rushed. You've let the passion project that is PoE2 affect your decision making process; that's my opinion at least.

Consider taking some software management classes, especially ones that involve case studies. You will learn about these kinds of mistakes so that you can recognize when you're walking into them.

PoE2 won't be replacing PoE1 for me. I wasn't even all that excited about PoE2 to begin with. I only played because I was gifted a key by a friend. If supporting PoE1 won't be a priority for you guys I'll be meandering off to some other franchise.

Thousands of dollars in support since 2012.

Poe1 has been killed to support a strictly worse game.

Will all the millions given to GGG over the last decade see any graphical or system improvements to poe1? I doubt it.

Make sure to fill your flasks up at the well before your next map! OH, wait need to spend 40 minutes clearing towers so i can run 5 good maps.

Poe2 in work for 6 years and the only thing they have to show is a good act1 and 2. Rest of the game is gutter half baked garbage that clearly took zero problem solving from poe1.

Apologizing and the repeating the same offense isn't how to take responsibility. How many "one more time" you guys got left?

This is understandable, GGG. You do great work, just keep going on.

Just having a game director dedicated to PoE1 would go a very long way. Surely you can put one senior person on P1 to get the ball rolling.

I have a suggestion. Just run all the old PoE leagues at once for that time until the new league starts.
You've done this before, I can't remember what it was called, but it was fun!

As a long time supporter and attendee of the first Exilecon I couldn't agree more.

I want to like Poe2, but it just isn't there yet. It's in early access, so I'm willing to wait and let GGG cook, but I'm willing to wait on the EA project, not the game that was promised to be unaffected.

I hate buying EA games, but made an exception for GGG, and am regretting it.

they had the best ARPG of all time in their hands and wat did they do with it ? a tedious full rng "2" and a real desert with the "1" ......
