that would require jonathan and GGG leadership to give a shit about PoE and think about this/plan ahead, allocating some development resources in early Jan. to spin up some cool void leagues.

But you heard jonathan. he just can't think of anything other than poe2 and those players right now. he can't think about poe. he doesn't think about poe.

which is why he functionally lied about 3.26 on the mid-jan interview when he and mark knew full well that 0 people were assigned to 3.26 at that time and that they wouldn't be assigning anyone to even begin work in the near future

So it seems like the plan was lying to us to keep goodwill for long enough, milk the loyal poe players for that sweet pre-release cash, and then go "Awww chucks, wasn't really any other way it could have played out"

Really sad to see them treat their "old" Playerbase that way.... genuinely disappointed.
